• School Psychology Services:

    A school psychologist has been assigned to every school in the Johnson County and surrounding districts as part of the special education cooperative. School psychologists have graduate degrees specializing in the individual learning strengths and weaknesses of children. School psychologists have experience and expertise in areas such as specific learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and emotional/behavioral disabilities. School psychologists provide a variety of services to students within both public and private schools. Services include but are not limited to: 

    Girl Writing

    • Assisting with students experiencing developmental or other delays from age three years through kindergarten as part of special education preschool services

    • Assisting with students experiencing academic, developmental, emotional and behavioral difficulties through building level problem solving teams  

    • Assisting with data collection related to academic growth through the response to instruction process 

    • Serving as the case manager for educational evaluations required to assist in establish eligibility for special education services from age three years through graduation from high school
